It seems that the NFL free agency gets more and more intense and that the teams are getting into the shopping mood.
Several big transfers took place this Monday morning, and according to the experts, this is just the beginning of this week’s madness.
Just to remind you, the new season is officially starting this Wednesday at 4 pm ET.
Ex-Pats OLT Lands in California
Oakland Raiders and Jon Gruden decided to strike early in this free agency, and the silver and black landed another big name after Antonio Brown. Former New England Patriots left tackle, Trent Brown will sign a four-year deal in the next few days. According to various sources, Brown will get $66 million for that time, and $36.75 million will be guaranteed money.
After this move, the 25-year old will become the highest paid offensive lineman when looking the salary per year with, $16.5 million, half a million more than Taylor Lewan from the Tennessee Titans.

Brown is one of the biggest players in the NFL, and with 380 pounds, and 6-foot-8 he will be a unique addition to the Raiders who seek good protection for Derek Carr.
Well, they found a Super Bowl winner, and that is a nice start for Chucky.
Kyle Shanahan Signs LB Kwon Alexander
The San Francisco 49 also reacted now. Kyle Shanahan found the perfect fit for his defensive team, and it seems that the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Kwon Alexander, is going to pledge his loyalty to the five-time Super Bowl winners.
Alexander’s contract is said to be $54 million, and half of that is guaranteed. The length should be four years.
For some, this comes as a risky move, even though Alexander has only 24 years. He tore his ACL in October last year, and that was the main reason why Buccaneers didn’t want to offer him a deal high as this one.

In 2016, he led the league with 108 solo tackles and was striving to the top of the list which includes the best defenders in the NFL. In 2017 he became the Pro Bowl.
His current rehabilitation is going good, and the player is recovering according to the plan.
Landon Collins Goes to Redskins
Safety Landon Collins made this Monday a day of big defensive signing. The former New York Giants Pro Bowl superstar, who was orchestrating the defense of the New York-based franchise decided to leave the Big Apple and join their division rivals, the Washington Redskins.
The deal will last for 6 years, and various sources are claiming that the sum involved is $84 million, from which $45 million are guaranteed.
Sources: Former #Giants star S Landon Collins is signing a 6-year deal for a whopping $84M with the rival #Redskins. Hard to imagine a box safety with this kind of deal after last year’s slow safety market. This moves the market dramatically.

Last season was the first one in his career in which he didn’t reach 100 tackles, and seeing that the power of the Giants is not rising, but totally the opposite he decided to change colors.
Detroit Looking for Additions
Detroit Lions also added more depth to their defensive team. Justin Coleman will soon sign a four-year deal worth $36 million, and the defensive back who played for the Lions, will become the highest paid nickel cornerback in the league.
The former Seattle Seahawks who flourished under Pete Carroll became one of the dominant forces in Seattle’s rejuvenated defense. The team from the northwest couldn’t offer him a deal which met his demands, so he decided to head East.

On another guy might land in Motor City pretty soon, and that is Danny Amendola, veteran wide receiver, who has an offer for a one-year deal, worth $4.5 million and can go up to $5.75 million.
No doubt, the things are just starting to warm up in the NFL and we san’t wait for Wednesday to come and see the fire around the league.
