In the most interesting matchup this Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers kept their perfect record by beating the most hated rival, Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers conquered M&T Bank Stadium, getting away with a 28-24 victory.
Many were anxious to watch this game. Not only because of the rivalry between these two teams but because both of them are among top Super Bowl contenders. And they had plenty to see.
Picks, strong defense, hits, penalties, all this was a part of today’s contest. In the end, the Ravens had a chance to win, but Lamar Jackson couldn’t put the ball into the Steelers’ end zone. On his last pass, Minkah Fitzpatrick prevented Willie Snead from scoring. Pittsburgh’s safety was a bit tougher in his defense, and the Ravens’ head coach John Harbaugh believed that it should be a penalty for Fitzpatrick,
“I feel for him a little bit because I feel like that play would’ve been made in the end zone to win the game. It would’ve been historic. You want to see your players protected the way just like the rules say they should be.”

Snead had 106 receiving yards in five catches, and was unstoppable for the rivals.
Baltimore crushed the Steelers’ rushing defense, racking 265 yards on the ground, almost 200 more than Mike Tomlin’s guys allow per each event. JK Dobbins had 113, Gus Edwards 87 and Lamar Jackson 65. The only one who scored from them three was Edwards.
However, the reigning MVP, Jackson, had a mediocre passing performance, completing 13 of his 28 passes, for 208 yards, with two touchdowns and picks each. On Ravens’ opening drive of the night, LJ threw a pick-six, with Robert Spillane returning the football all the way home for 33 yards. Yet that wasn’t all. He had three fumbles, two of them lost, and one recovered.
The home team was up 17-7 at halftime but lost control of the match after the pause. Pittsburgh just shifted into a higher gear, with Baltimore keeping the pace for a while before fading.
Three TDs in the second, one each by Ebron, Conner, and Claypool, changed the situation on the field, eventually bringing a huge win for the guests.
Roethlisberger had 182 passing yards, for two TDs, and was sacked twice. JuJu Smith-Schuster received seven passes for 67 yards, Ebron had four for 48 while Claypool added 42 yards through the air. James Conner rushed for a TD and 47 yards on 15 reps.

Spillane had 11 tackles, 10 of them solo, while Stephon Tuitt’s three of his nine tackles were for a loss.
“It was good today, but it means nothing tomorrow,” said Tomlin, adding that he feels honored to participate in matches and rivalries like this one.
“You better believe it. It’s an honor. A humbling experience. This is what we signed up for, this is what we do at this level. You want to be in these stadiums, you want to have Nantz&Romo calling your game. .We’re honored to be a part of it.”
He and the Steelers (7-0) are traveling now to Dallas to play against the short-handed Cowboys. The next game after that one is at home against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Ravens (5-2) are in problems now. Not only did they lost both the game and the pace with the Steelers in the AFC North, but the star LT Ronnie Stanley. Two days ago, this guy signed a five-year $99 million extension. According to the latest info, he won’t be playing until the end of the year. On top of that, they visit the Indianapolis Colts next Sunday and seven days later, the New England Patriots.
