The Denver Nuggets lost Game 3 in Phoenix to the Suns, and they are pretty upset about it. Not only due to the loss, but also because of the officiating, which did help the Suns in the crucial moments. Truthfully, the Nuggets had a chance to win this event as well, but Jamal Murray’s misses prevented that from happening. On the other side, we saw Devin Booker and Kevin Durant on a rampage, which was enough for the hosts to squeeze out a victory.

Here is the preview for the Celtics vs. 76ers Game 4.
Preview
Denver Nuggets (+145) couldn’t grab this one and pretty much solve the series. Jamal Murray’s foul on Booker, which was, in fact, the other way around, decided this contest, according to the fans of the franchise from Colorado.
Murray had 32 points, the most among the Nuggets’ players, but we need to repeat that the sharpshooting guard missed many shots in the crucial moments. In the end, he was 13-for-29 from the field, 1-for-6 for three with six boards and five assists.
Nikola Jokic had a historical game with 30 points and 17 rebounds and assists each. He was 11-for-19 from the field, but that didn’t help his team; the same as Michael Porter Jr’s, very good performance, and 21 buckets with 12 rebounds. The Nuggets outrebounded the Suns 51-41, but as stated, that didn’t help.
Phoenix Suns (-170) won this game, extending the series and boosting their morale a little bit. They needed this to happen following Chris Paul’s injury, to show the fans and themselves that they are still competitive against one of the best teams in the NBA.
Devin Booker had a dazzling night, scoring 47 points while shooting 20-for-25 from the field and dishing nine assists with six boards and three steals. He was all over the court and simply took the matters in his hands.
Kevin Durant was at the same level, with the former NBA MVP scoring 39 points, nine boards, and eight assists. These two guys have become the first duo in Phoenix after 18 years to reach 80 points in a game, and both have 35+ buckets. The previous ones were Steve Nash and Shawn Marion.
Head to Head Games
The regular-season series were tied with two wins on both sides. The first two meetings in the playoffs ended in Denver’s favor, with the games taking place at the Mile High. Jokic and the boys clinched the first 125-107; after that, they also won the second, 97-87. The third, played at the Footprint Center this Friday night, saw Phoenix’s tight victory, 121-114.
Prediction
The Suns were one-dimensional in Game 3, it went well for them anyway, with Booker and Durant ravaging the rivals. Though, we can’t see this getting a positive result again, especially now, when Murray had an awful performance, which likely won’t happen again. To be clear, Game 3 is Phoenix’s maximum, while the Nuggets have room for improvement. We will be modest in this case and go with the Nuggets defending a 4-point spread, with the odds here -110, which is a pretty good offer..
Pick: Nuggets +4 -110
