According to several reliable media from overseas, the Magpies are waiting for the completion of a takeover by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund before getting down to business.

The Welsh superstar and his contract are a massive problem for Los Blancos, who are trying to get rid of both. The player isn’t in good relationships with the executives as well as with coach Zinedine Zidane, who didn’t count on him for a long time.
After several injuries and multiple problems, the team encountered, Zidane was forced to use Bale, who played pretty well in those situations and was, in fact, one of the most reliable players on the court. Still, his €17 million per year salary is something that bothers Real’s management, and they are desperate to sell the winger.
Over the past year and a half, numerous offers came to Santiago Bernabeu, and even though the Spanish powerhouse accepted each one, the player wasn’t willing to take a significant pay cut. His strong stance comes from the fact that Real acted disrespectfully once trying to sell him some two years ago, which resulted in Bale’s stubborn decision to stay in the club and take the massive salary, hurting the team’s finances.
As for Pochettino, following his departure from Tottenham, the Argentinian head coach was in the middle of attention as soon as some big team decided to make a switch on the bench.

After Bayern Munich decided to fire Niko Kovac, Poch was considered to be the No.1 candidate for that spot. Also, he was mentioned once Barcelona searched for the new leader. His managerial skills are known all over the world, but for some reason, he still didn’t found a new destination. What is behind all that we can’t quite tell, but according to some sources, the former Espanyol and Tottenham coach would like to stay in England and find a new job there.
It appears that the new owners of Newcastle know that and that they want to lure the 48-year old by giving him a chance to fight for the trophy. Even though he created one of the best teams in Europe during his sting in London, Poch and the Spurs didn’t win a single piece of silverware.
However, his vision and creativity made him one of the best coaches in the world, especially in the situation when something needs to be made from scratches. Newcastle is in such a position, but they have something Poch never had in his career, and that is a financial resource, which would make him feel more comfortable once making the team. He was always limited in that aspect while in Tottenham.
If Magpies succeed in landing these two individuals, it would be a great starting point for a further build-up of the team. Both are highly respected in England, and would immediately make the club more attractive and competitive, which is even more important.
