Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum, and Bogdan Bogdanovic signed their respective multi-year deals today.
Mitchell Staying in Utah
Donovan Mitchell and Utah Jazz will ink a deal that would see the superstar guard staying in Salt Lake City for additional five years, with a guaranteed $163 million.
However, the deal could go up to $195 million if Mitchell earns a place in one of three All-NBA teams. He will have a player option before the start of the fifth season.

One of the most attractive and productive players in the league became the franchise leader, and the guy who moved the Jazz towards the top of the conference. Mitchell constantly improved his productivity and the overall contribution on the court, while at the same time, the Jazz became a respectable force in the West.
Through his first three years in the NBA, Spida averaged 22.7 points, with 4.1 boards and 4 assists in 225 matches played. Mitchell’s performances in the playoffs were even better, and during this postseason campaign, he had 36.3 buckets per game.
In 2018, Utah’s guard was the winner of the NBA All-Star dunk contest. In 2020, Mitchell became an All-Star.
Tatum Signs the Same Deal
The Boston Celtics’ forward agreed to the same deal as Mitchell, five years, $163 million with the possibility of increasing the sum to $195 million. Unlike Utah’s player, Tatum was already a member of the All-NBA third team.
The 6-foot-8 is already one of the best players in the league, and after several big mistakes, including Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward, the Celtics are now making him the pivotal part of the team.
Jayson Tatum has agreed to a five-year, $195M extension with the Celtics, source tells ESPN.

In the 2019/20 season, Tatum posted 23.4 points with seven boards and 1.4 steals. During his rookie year, the former Duke Blue Devil set numerous playoff records indicating enormous potential. He became the only rookie besides Kareem-Abdul Jabar to score 20+ points in 10 straight playoff matches.
Apart from being an All-NBA third team, Tatum was an All-Star last year.
With Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart, he established the core of the new Celtics, who are one of the top teams in the NBA.
Bogdanovic Earns Big Money
The Serbian marksman declined the possibility of chasing the title with the Milwaukee Bucks, ruining the deal between the Sacramento Kings and the franchise from Wisconsin. Instead, Bogi decided to commit his future to the Atlanta Hawks, signing a four-year contract worth $72 million.
Sacramento didn’t have the resources to keep Bogdanovic, who was one of their best players. The Serbian is a versatile attacker able to shoot from downtown with a high percentage while also engaging in pick and roll situations as a playmaker.
Bogdan Bogdanovic has signed his four-year offer sheet worth $72 million from the Atlanta Hawks, league sources say
The deal, I'm told, includes a player option in Year 4 and 15-percent trade kicker for the restricted free agent
The Kings will have 48 hours to match

Bogi averaged 15.1 points with 3.4 points and boards in 29 minutes for the Kings last year, drastically increasing his numbers in the moments when either De’Aaron Fox or Buddy Hield weren’t on the court.
The Hawks have a young and a very talented unit, with Trae Young as the leader. Right now, their goal is to attack the playoffs, and after adding Danilo Gallinari and Tony Snell besides Bogdanovic, the team from Georgia is a legit contender for the offseason.
According to many insiders, Atlanta will try to add a star frontcourt player until the end of the free agency.
