Milwaukee Bucks recorded their 42nd win of the season, and their victims in this one were the Phoenix Suns, 129-108. It was a routine win of one of the biggest candidates for taking the Larry O’Brien trophy, who handled the guests from Arizona very well.
As usual, the pivotal figure in this event was Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was near a triple-double, missing only one assist besides his 30 points and 19 rebounds to post another TD to his already packed account.
Giannis was practically toying with the Suns’ team, who couldn’t restrain the reigning MVP of the league.

Guests from Phoenix held solidly at the early stage of the match and were pretty close until the midway of the second period. Back then, the Bucks slowly started to take over the command of the field, and to increase their advantage, without making some big runs. The result at the halftime was 67-52 for them.
Later on, it was all a routine for the hosts, whose head coach Mike Bundenholzer gave a chance to almost all of his players on the bench. There wasn’t a guy in Milwaukee with under 10 minutes on the floor tonight.
Khris Middleton ended the contest with 25 points, 8 boards, and six assists. Brook Lopez scored 17 and Eric Bledsoe 12.
Donte DiVincenzo had 15 off the bench.
Phoenix was poor from behind the arc with six threes in 23 attempts. They were outrebounded too, 51-60, had fewer assists, 20-30, and were at 39% from the field.
Devin Booker poured 32 buckets, had 7 boards and 6 dimes, but the only one besides him who was trying to compete with the hosts was DeAndre Ayton with 20 points and 14 boards, but shooting 10-of-27.
“Everybody that has to guard him has got their hands full today,” said Budenholzer on Booker. “He’s very neat talent, very gifted.”
Meanwhile, Ayton was not happy with the officials at all, saying that they protected the Bucks too much.
“That’s the best team (in the NBA). We flew all the way over here to compete, not to get in foul trouble. They gotta ease up a little bit on the whistle,” he said, adding. “We’re talking fouls after the ball was already through the hoop. It just messed up the whole game.”
Kelly Oubre Jr. and Jevon Carter had 15 points each.
Phoenix (20-29) has two more stops on their three-game tour throughout the East. Booker and the boys visit Detroit Pistons this Monday, and have a clash with the Brooklyn Nets the night after that, before awaiting the Rockets and the Nuggets in another back-to-back program set for Friday and Saturday.
The Bucks (42-7) have a come and go schedule for the next few games. They visit New Orleans Pelicans (who lost to Houston tonight) on Tuesday, and reach back to Wisconsin to play against the 76ers two nights later. Milwaukee then plays with the Magic in Orlando, and again comes back home to host the Sacramento Kings.
It seems that their biggest problem in these few events is going to be exhaustion from traveling all the time. They are convincingly first in the East, and the entire NBA and many expect them to stay at that place until the end of the regular part of the season.
Meanwhile, the Suns are three and a half games behind the Grizzles in the eight spot on the West, and are still in the combination for the playoffs.
