The Golden State Warriors are one game from losing their NBA title because if the Los Angeles Lakers win on Thursday night, the Dub Nation is eliminated from the playoffs. At the moment, the Warriors are down 1-3 and returning home to play against the purple and gold, who look very dominant in this series. Anthony Davis is the guy right now, and even though all the eyes are pointed at LeBron, the Eyebrow has been fantastic. Meanwhile, the Dub Nation struggles to get things going, with Steph Curry occasionally bursting, which isn’t enough.

Preview
LA Lakers (+210) managed to erase a double-digit deficit from the third period, to win Game 4 and open the door to the Western Conference finals. The purple and gold were excellent in the game’s crucial moments on the offensive and the defensive side of the floor.
Loonie Walker IV had 15 points in the game, all in the final period, and he was the main reason why Darvin Ham’s crew beat the rivals. None of the Warriors’ players was able to stop him, and it turned out that Walker presented a surprise Steve Kerr couldn’t solve.
LeBron scored 27 points with nine boards and six assists, while Davis ended the night with 23 buckets, 15 rebounds, and three steals, 10-for-16 from the field. Austin Reaves was once again lethal for the Dub Nation, with the sharpshooting guard delivering 21 buckets.
Golden State Warriors (-260) are in this position after a long time and don’t look good. The Lakers are smashing and bashing them in every single aspect of the game, and individual actions aren’t delivering the desired result.
Steph Curry had a triple-double, 31 points, 14 assists, and ten rebounds, his third in the postseason, but the shooting percentages were terrible, 12-for-30 and only three threes in 14 tries.
Klay was awful with only nine points, 3-for-11, while Andrew Wiggins reached 17 buckets. Gary Payton II scored 15. The bench was very poor, delivering 21 points combined, and when they needed to step up and keep the pace, nothing happened. Meanwhile, the LAL’s role players were efficient and effective.
Head to Head Games
The result in the season series was 3-1 for the Lakers, and right now, we have the same situation in the playoffs. LA Lakers snatched Game 1 in San Francisco, 117-112, then lost Game 2, 127-100. After that, we saw two events at the Crypto.com Arena in LA, and the hosts won both of them, 127-97, and last night’s 104-101.
Predictions
If it weren’t for Steph’s poor finish, the Warriors would have leveled the series on Monday night. That’s for sure. Kerr managed to surprise Ham with a small-ball starting lineup, and as time went by, even though there were changes on both ends, GSW dictated the pace. Now, that last period and the finish of the third were terrible for the Dub Nation in general because Klay and others were poor as well. Golden State is under pressure, but we still think they will win Game 5 because they won’t surrender. The odds aren’t too profitable, but -260 ain’t that bad.
Pick: Golden State Warriors win -260
