After finishing all the business with the UEFA EURO, the logical thing for every football fan is to turn his attention to the domestic leagues, which will start pretty soon. The No.1 among all of them is, of course, the English Premier League, and we are here to throw some early predictions with odds included.
Man City (-115) – Top Contenders, Again
You know what? We are pretty sure that the Citizens have the best team in the league despite them flying under the radar on the transfer market for the moment. They kept the axis of the group, and are in pursuit of adding a few players, so we might expect them even better than in the past few years. Yes, that is possible.
Two fullbacks with ferocious strikes – but which one was better? 🤔

With Guardiola’s system and a few new players who will bring in fresh blood, City will have the best chemistry on the pitch again, which can’t be said for other teams, apart from Liverpool, maybe. All the rivals will add at least one megastar who is going to need some time to adjust to the new environment.
Man Utd (+800) – Replica of the English National Team
United, on the other hand, splashed a lot of cash this summer, with Jadon Sancho landing at Trafford and probably Harry Kane following his footsteps. Kane and Man Utd are put together for a long time, and we do expect to see England’s captain inking a deal very soon. Ole Gunnar Solskajer got the team according to his desires, with fast players suitable for counter-attacks and defensive-minded tactics.

They will practically play the same way England did in the recent EURO. That is, to be honest, the only way Solskjaer knows.
Liverpool (+540) – Van Dijk is Back
Liverpool wasn’t active on the market, but they’ve got one big boost with Virgil Van Dijk coming back following an injury. Ibrahima Konate landed as well, and the Reds are pretty much safe when it comes to the defensive part of the team. We’ll see how they cover up Wijnaldum’s departure. But to set that aside, we are now sure that the 2020 champs will be much more dangerous with Van Dijk commanding from the backline and that they might challenge City in the upcoming season.

The Reds’ defense was the problematic part of the team, especially once all the injuries hit them at the same time. Don’t forget that Klopp played extremely well even with half of his team out due to health issues. If Liverpool has a bit more luck this year, they might be back in the 2020 mode.
Chelsea (+600) – Lots of Potential, Lots of Questions
Finally, the European champions, Chelsea, come to our menu. We saw that they pushed hard to complete Erling Haaland’s transfer, and that just might be what they need. The prospects of seeing the Norwegian striker in blue jersey are high, and in our opinion, he is what they need to become a serious title contender. With Haaland, Chelsea will have a perfect guy up front, who knows to score, run counters, force double tagging, etc.
Re: Haaland
I understand Chelsea are preparing a “BIG offer” to check out and challenge Dortmund’s “he will stay here next season”.
The understanding is that Dortmund won’t say no to 175 million euro

Tuchel is a maestro to make a strong defense, and we saw that already, but what is different now is that his team will face lots of pressure. It was easy for the Blues to play last year. There were no expectation. Things are different now.
