Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers made some pretty big moves on the market this afternoon.
As we write this text, the 2018 Super Bowl champions are trying to work out a deal with the San Francisco 49ers and pick up their wide receiver Marquise Goodwin.
This news was reported by ESPN’s insider, Adam Schefter, who shared it on his Twitter account. According to him, the teams will trade sixth-round picks, with the note that the Eagles would pick up Goodwin as well.

The 78th pick from the 2013 NFL Draft played for three seasons in San Francisco. He had a contract through the 2021 season, after signing a three-year extension in 2018, worth $20.3 million.
Goodwin would earn a contract following the 2017 campaign, during which he posted 962 yards in 56 receptions for two TDs. However, following that, he had numerous injuries and managed to record 581 receiving yards combined over the next two seasons.
Philly intends to boost its thin receiving core and try to find some valuable assets from the present players in that position. On the other side, the 49ers are cutting the expenses and saving the money.
The team from California also traded Matt Breida to Miami Dolphins, and received a fifth-round pick in exchange. This was a logical move, because of the fact that the NFC Champions had several players on the running back position. His move to Florida saves 49ers $3.2 million.

The 25-year old had an excellent season in 2018, his sophomore year, recording 814 yards in 153 carries, averaging 5.3 yards per rush. Still, the problems with injuries in 2019 allowed him to record 623 yards for just one TD, losing his place in the rotation.
However, Breida is expected to have a huge influence on the Dolphins game. Miami was the worst team in the league in rushing yards in 2019, with the quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick delivering 243 yards on the ground, highest of all Dolphins players.
He and Jordan Howard will share snaps, and they are expected to improve the humiliating 72.3 yards per contest this franchise had last season.
Washington Redskins also had their share of action on the market today, as they traded away arguably the biggest star of the team Trent Williams to San Francisco.
“Trent Williams is ready to get back to competing in the NFL and is glad to be a part of a great organization like the San Francisco 49ers,” said Williams’ agent Vincent Taylor.
The offensive tackle will be a part of Kyle Shanahan’s crew, who suffered a lot of changes over the previous 24 hours, but eventually gained more quality than they lost. The 49ers sent a fifth-round pick for this draft and a third-round for 2021 in exchange.

Williams comes to California to replace Joe Staley, who will apparently retire at the end of the season, due to multiple health issues. Also, the seven-time Pro Bowler had some disputes with the Redskins organization, which is why he wanted a way out of DC.
The 32-year old would reunite with Shanahan, the offensive coordinator in Washington in 2010, and one of the guys who decided to draft Williams as the fourth overall pick at the time. No doubt, the 49ers received a fantastic addition to their roster, and would most definitely be one of the most serious contenders for attacking the Super Bowl once again.
