DC United and Bayern Munich share the Audi Field pitch in Washington on Wednesday night, in a friendly spectacle that will draw the massive attention of the fans across the USA. One of the biggest teams in the world is coming to DC to present its new team and to start a tour, during which Julian Nagelsmann begins to prepare the team for the upcoming season. On the other side, DC is in the middle of the campaign and with a new head coach, the legendary Wayne Rooney.

DC United (+1200) had a change at the head coaching position, with their former player and the English legend, Wayne Rooney, taking over the wheel. Rooney played for DC before returning to England, where he played and had his first coaching experience with Derby County. He would leave the Rams and return to DC, ready to start another chapter for both him and the team.

The team from Washington is not in a good place, with several players injured and pretty poor results in the recent few weeks. Only one win in the previous 11 games is something that created circumstances for Rooney’s comeback.

The German champs didn’t have any tests before this one, and the fans are anxious to see the new faces. Besides Mane, two Ajax’s players arrived in Munich this summer, Ryan Gravenberch, and Noussair Mazraoui.

Bayern’s game should be much quicker with them two involved, as they tend to play flamboyant football with high intensity and pace, and are physically impeccable players. We don’t need to say too much about the style of play Bayern prefers, it is extremely offensive-minded.

Even though this is their opening game of the season, Nagelsmann’s machine will be sharp as usual, with Mane and the boys being ready to score goals right away.
