Dana White shook the world today. The UFC president revealed several things; the biggest one that the UFC booked another Miocic vs. Cormier spectacle, and the entire card for the UFC 251.
White also said that the Fight Island he spoke about many times before, is located in Abu Dhabi and plans to have four events there.
But to start from the most important news and that is Stipe vs. DC, part 3. This super-fight is set for August 15, and it is expected to be the UFC 252, and the location is still not revealed.
“I don’t have a location yet, but the trilogy with those two great heavyweights will happen this summer,” White said.
This one is for all the marbles. 1-1, both knockouts but great fights, I can’t wait to fight this dude again!! Now it’s time to work as hard as I ever trained. #weareaka #zinkinsportsmanagement #2xheavyweightchamp 2xlightheavyweightchamp pic.twitter.com/BvyhectS4X

For Miocic, this is going to be the first title defense since the last fight with Cormier, who will step into the ring for the last time. The former champion will retire following this one.
“This one is for all the marbles. 1-1, both knockouts but great fights, I can’t wait to fight this dude again!! Now it’s time to work as hard as I ever trained,” DC wrote on his Twitter account.
Just to remind you that the previous two clashes ended with each guy winning once. At first, Cormier stripped Miocic of his title in July 2017, and eleven months later, Stipe avenged his loss.
White also spoke about the entre UFC 251 main card, saying that the opening event at the Fight Island will feature three championship battles.
The headliner is between Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns, for the welterweight title. Apparently, Burns’ win over Tyron Woodley forced the president of the UFC to give the Brazilian a chance to fight for the belt.
Alex Volkanovski will face Max Holloway, in the second part of their rivalry. After dominating in the featherweight division, Holloway lost to Volkanovski at the UFC 245. Back then, some revealed that there was a clause in the contract that guaranteed Holloway n automatic rematch if he loses that one. It seems that it really was the case.
Finally, Petr Yan and Jose Aldo will decide who takes the vacant bantamweight belt, following Henry Cejudo’s retirement. These three fights are no doubt very interesting, and this PPV event promises to generate one massive revenue.
This is the main card for UFC 251, per Dana White on First take:
Usman vs. Burns
Volkanovski vs. Holloway
Yan vs. Aldo

UFC 251 is set for July 11, and after that, on July 15, 18, and 25 three more events are taking place at the Fight Island. The exact location of this building is going to be on Yas Island in Aby Dhabi, It is a spectacular complex that features an arena, hotel, buildings for training sessions, places for eating, and all that will be isolated with a safety zone of 10 square miles. Only accredited personnel will have the possibility of entering in it.
White spoke about the fact that the authorities were more than willing to help him in creating the environment for the battles and that he has nothing but kind words about them. Once again, Abu Dhabi justified its reputation as one of the best places for hosting sports events in the entire world.
“Just like I said about Florida, when we went there, how the commission and the government worked with us out there to pull out that fight, the same thing was in Abu Dhabi. These guys have been amazing partners, everything we’ve ever done with them,” White said.
The cards for the events that follow are to be revealed in the next few days per sources, and it is also expected to see some excellent matches.
