The matchup between Inter Milan and AC Milan looks pretty much solved after 2-0 in the first leg, but even so, Rosonerri won’t give up on their dreams to reach the UEFA Champions League. They will have the fans against themselves because now Inter has the home-court edge, but that wouldn’t be such a great handicap for Stefano Pioli’s team. San Siro/Meazza is their home as well. Inter’s form is outstanding as Simone Inzaghi’s unit hit the turbo button over the past few weeks smashing all the rivals and emerging as a legit contender for the European title.

Preview
Inter Milan (+105) has defeated Sassuolo this Saturday, 4-2, in one relaxed, yet confident performance that saw Inter’s attack once again dominating. The striking duo, Lukaku with two and Lautaro with one goal, displayed excellent effort.
This was the seventh consecutive victory for Nerazzurri, who scored two or more goals in all but one event throughout that span, 14 over the previous four events. It is a streak worthy of acknowledging and there aren’t too many teams in Europe in such shape. Also, they had five clean sheets throughout that period.
The hosts don’t have to rush into anything, and will probably wait to hit the rivals on a break, which was the original intention in the first meeting. The difference is that now, Milan has to be much more offensive, which would leave the open field for Inter’s forwards.
AC Milan (+300) is in trouble. Not only did the injuries hit them hard in the crucial moment of the year, with several of their top players out now, but the morale is badly hurt right now.
Following a 0-2 loss to Inter, Milan was beaten against Spezia in Serie A this Saturday night, 2-0. Many of the fans are aware that Pioli wanted to rest some of his players and that the entire locker room was thinking about the rematch, but still, Rossoneri have just one win in the previous five events.
The loss in Spezia was the tenth event in a row Milan played that hadn’t seen three goals. All of them were under that limit, which suggests that Milan’s games aren’t that interesting in terms of efficiency.
Latest News
Skriniar is out and Dalbert too.
Milan won’t have Bennacer, Zlatan, Krunic, and Messias who are all 100% ineligible for this contest. Meanwhile, Florenzi and Leao are questionable, yet we expect to see them appearing on Tuesday night.
Head to Head Games
This is going to be the fifth meeting since the start of this campaign, and after Milan’s opening win, 3-2, Inter won three in a row without allowing a single goal. The first triumph was in Super Cup, 3-0, after that in Serie A, 1-0 and in UCL, 2-0.
Predictions
There won’t be too many goals here, because Inter won’t be eager to open and play more relaxed football. On the other side, Milan is not too gifted with scoring goals once they need to attack, especially with some of their key players injured or not fully fit. So, Under 2.5 goals is the top pick here.
Pick: Under 2.5 goals -120
