Eden Hazard and an own goal by Achraf Hakimi sealed Los Blancos’ win, and Arturo Vidal’s reckless behavior, which earned him a red card, made it even easier for the guests to take all three points.
“We were in control. We were all aware that we had to be solid and work together, run hard. We have all fought for this win and we are a very good team,” said Rafael Varane, who was Real’s captain in today’s event.
In the other match of Group B, Borussia Monchengladbach defeated Shakhtar Donetsk, 4-0. They have 8 points, Real one fewer, the Ukrainians four, while Inter sits last with just two points in four contests.

Finally, Group C saw two tough matches, in which guests won. The first one was in Athens, where Manchester City posted a triumph over Olympiacos, 0-1. They clash with Tottenham this weekend.
Porto was better on the road against Olympique Marseille, 0-2. The game was ferocious and intense, with both sides receiving a red card.
