Conor McGregor strongly ruled out all the speculations regarding the newest sexual assault allegations. The publicist of one of the biggest stars in the world of MMA fighting, stated earlier today that his client had nothing to do with recent accusations.
“Conor McGregor is frequently the subject of rumors,” the publicist said. “He emphatically denies any report accusing him of sexual assault.”
The fuzz began this Saturday when another woman accused the Irishman of a sexual assault. According to the story of the alleged victim, the fighter attacked her last week in Dublin, in a parked vehicle outside the city. The woman is said to be in her 20’s.
Dublin police have confirmed that there is an investigation going on, but they didn’t want to speak more about it and go into the details.

“Gardai in Crumlin in Dublin are investigating an alleged sexual assault of a woman in her 20s that occurred on Friday, October 11, 2019 at approximately 9 pm on Drimnagh Road, Dublin 12,” the statement said. “Investigations (are) ongoing and no arrests at this time. Owing to the nature of the investigation, we will not be commenting further at this time.”
For the moment, McGregor hasn’t been questioned by the police, but it is said that he should be contacted by the Irish law enforcement pretty soon.
This is the second sexual assault allegation for McGregor, who is accused of the same thing last December. After being arrested this January and questioned in the police, the Notorious still awaits the decision whether is he going to be officially charged or not.
Back then, the sources told the media that the victim of the assault was a famous Irish sports star whose identity hadn’t been revealed. The place of the alleged crime was a Beacon Hotel in Dublin, in the fighter’s penthouse suit. In the meantime, McGregor had two more problems with the law once he took away the mobile phone from one fan and destroyed it.
He would then punch an older man in the bar, ending up recorded on the security cameras. The former two-division champion will have to appear on November 1 in Dublin District Court to either declare himself guilty or contest the assault charges.
Recently, McGregor was filling the media headlines for all sorts of reasons. The majority were connected with his comeback to the octagon and his possible opponents. It appears that the Irishman desperately wants to settle the scores with Khabib Nurmagomedov, who, on the other hand, doesn’t want to fight with the big rival anytime soon. The Russian Eagle recently told the media that McGregor first has to earn the chance to meet him again and that as one of the contenders, he needs to prove himself worthy of a title fight.
In the meantime, Khabib’s agent, Ali Abdelaziz, told the media that the Irishman is the past and that he doesn’t deserve any publicity and hype. Also, Abdelaziz mentioned that if he wants to fight Khabib, then McGregor needs to pass Justin Gaethje, who is also his client.
Eventually, after multiple callouts from numerous fighter, McGregor recently responded for the first time. Frankie Edgar declared that he wishes to clash with the Notorious, who instantly replied, telling Dana White, the UFC president, to make it happen.
For sure, the latest issues will only make things more complicated for McGregor. The hype surrounding the Irishman will hit the ceiling, which could be excellent for his comeback, but it could distract him from the fight preparations.
