BetOnline’s Reputation and History
By injecting yourself into any conversation regarding the best online sportsbooks in the world today, you’ll find that BetOnline’s name is mentioned early and often.
Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Panama City, Panama, BetOnline has stamped itself as one of the most trusted and reliable sportsbooks that face the United States market today.
They’re also one of the few offshore bookmakers that accept customers from all 50 states.
The BetOnline brand offers an immersive gambling experience that includes casino, live casino, poker, horse racing, and esports gambling, as well.
Despite all of those offerings, BetOnline is best-known for its sportsbook.
With fast payouts, good bonuses, early lines, great prop markets, competitive odds, and a mobile-friendly website, BetOnline caters to the needs of the professional and recreational gamblers alike.
Whereas many of its competitors have had their names dragged through the mud, BetOnline’s sportsbook reputation has remained unscathed.
Today, BetOnline is a trusted name for online sports betting and is renowned for being a safe and secure destination for keen sports bettors.
BetOnline’s Betting Markets
Because BetOnline is available to players from every country besides Australia, France, Malta, and Panama, the site has been constructed to appeal to prospective bettors from all parts of the world.
As a result, BetOnline’s range of sports betting markets is among the most comprehensive that we’ve found online.
When logging into BetOnline for the first time, you’ll find a long list of sports available to choose from. At the top of the list is popular North American sports including baseball, basketball, football, soccer, hockey, and tennis, each with their selection of competitions and leagues to choose from.
Popular sports
- Baseball – MLB, International, and more
- Basketball – NBA, NCAA, Europe, and more
- Football – NFL, NCAA, and more
- Soccer – EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, UEFA CL, and more
- Hockey – NHL, AHL, Russia, Sweden, and more
- Tennis – ATP, WTA, Doubles, and more
BetOnline has odds for all kinds of competitions and leagues, ensuring that customers have access to upcoming and live betting opportunities in the United States, Asia, Europe, or elsewhere.
In addition to the six sports shown in the ‘popular’ section, users can access the extended list of ‘other sports’ by scrolling down a little further.
Here you’ll find sports that are popular on a global scale, including rugby, boxing, martial arts, and more.
Other sports
- Aussie Rules
- Auto Racing
- Boxing
- Cricket
- Darts
- Handball
- Golf
- Futsal
- Lacrosse
- Martial Arts
- Pool
- Rugby League
- Rugby Union
- Snooker
With 19 sports available for betting at the time of our review, BetOnline has more than enough coverage for the average punter, no matter their location. Here’s how they stack up against the rest of the competition:
- BetOnline: 19 sports
- MyBookie: 14 sports
- Bookmaker: 13 sports
- BetDSI: 10 sports
- YouWager: 7 sports
Player props
Where BetOnline shines, however, is with its sensational player proposition betting markets.
The player props betting market is available for NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, EPL, and many more sports and competitions.
If you like to keep it simple, you can stick to betting the pre-made markets that are available. In the below example, we found props for Raheem Sterling’s performance in an upcoming EPL game between Arsenal and Burnley.
If you like to take things up another level, though, you’re going to want to start building your bets in an attempt to gain an edge over the bookmaker.
At BetOnline, you can build bets using straightforward models such as how many goals a player scores, or you can step it up another notch, again, by pitting two players head to head in any one particular statistic.
For example, if we were confident of Sergio Aguero’s chances of finishing the game with more shots than each of Harry Kane and David Silva, we can cash in on the +100 odds that we’ve created using the head-to-head build your bet feature.
Not only is betting on player props a heap of fun, it’s also a great way to boost your profits if you can spot a high-value opportunity.
For the bookmakers, these markets represent a fundamental shift and attempt to bridge the gap between fantasy sports and sports betting.
Although BetOnline is one of many sites to advanced player props, we’ve found the service to be far superior here considering that they are one of just a few sites that release lines early.
At other sites, you’ll find yourself needing to log in on the day of the event to build your own bet. At BetOnline, however, the markets are live three days in advance so that you can start experimenting early.
Esports
BetOnline is one of the many sites that have installed a separate, dedicated esports betting section on their website, away from the sportsbook area of the site.
In just one click, you can swap between betting on what’s happening on Summoner’s Rift and the Super Bowl.
BetOnline’s esports section isn’t decked out in the same way we’ve found many esports-focused betting sites to be, but they do have live and upcoming odds for Counter-Strike, Dota 2, League of Legends, Overwatch, and other popular titles.
Other betting markets
If you’re looking for more than to merely betting on sports and esports, BetOnline is the right site for you.
BetOnline offers ‘special’ betting markets such as politics and entertainment betting, as well as a dedicated racebook, casino, and live casino, making it a one-stop-shop for all aspects of gambling online.
Although we actively encourage our readers to build a portfolio of betting accounts with sports bookmakers so that you can have access to the best odds at all times, we realize that’s not an option for everyone.
If you’re looking to get up and running with an offshore bookmaker that really has it all, then look no further.
BetOnline’s Betting Odds
In addition to their brilliant range of betting markets and options, BetOnline is also renowned for offering early lines and great odds for the majority of sports.
Because BetOnline releases their odds earlier than other sites, it enables sharp, well-researched bettors to smash lines or odds that are “off” at release. These punters are often backing their selections with many thousands of dollars and can, therefore, influence the lines within minutes of their release.
By the time that these markets are live on other sites that are slower to post their lines, the initial value has already been sucked out of the market by all of the sharp bettors who got in early at BetOnline and other sites that are quick to release lines.
For that reason, many successful bettors continue to wager at BetOnline to cash-in on those excellent betting opportunities.
These bettors also find betting at BetOnline to be more profitable in the long term because of the relatively smaller margins that the sportsbook takes.
Margins are an incredibly important consideration when betting online because they directly impact your profitability.
In the examples to come, you’ll find that BetOnline charges its users less to place bets than other sites such as BetDSI and MyBookie.
Average margin on NFL Week 1 games (2019):
- BetOnline – 4.71%
- BetDSI – 4.75%
- YouWager – 4.77%
- MyBookie – 4.77%
BetOnline’s NFL odds were the best of the above offshore bookmakers just weeks out from the start of the 2019-20 NFL season.
Whereas YouWager and MyBookie were offering standard -110 vs. -110 lines, BetOnline’s margins were slightly lower, allowing for marginally better value for those interested in betting on NFL.
We also compared the odds for the upcoming rematch for the UFC Heavyweight Championship bout between Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic at UFC 241.
Margin on Daniel Cormier vs. Stipe Miocic II:
- YouWager – 3.62%
- BetOnline – 3.76%
- BetDSI – 4.73%
- MyBookie – 5.68%
In this example, YouWager and BetOnline’s margins were considerably smaller than what we found at BetDSI and MyBookie.
With most bookmakers choosing to increase their margins and take more money over time from bettors, it’s clear that BetOnline is focused on presenting themselves as a point of difference in the market today.
It’s an interesting and somewhat surprising discovery, but it does make sense from a business standpoint.
With lower margins and increased potential profitability for bettors, BetOnline is clearly hoping to attract more users than other sites with higher margins. Despite their smaller margins, it’s possible for BetOnline to rake in more profits if they can attract a higher number of bets than their competitors.
Limits
If you’re a big-time sports bettor, you’re going to want to know all about the limits of a sportsbook before you sign up with them.
How much can you wager at BetOnline? Read on below.
If you want to bet on NFL spreads, you can wager up to $25,000 at a time. You can also wager up to $15,000 on money line selections and NFL totals.
The limits for NBA betting are a little smaller. Punters can wager up to $10,000 on NBA spreads, $5,000 on money line, and $5,000 on totals.
For most other sports, the limits are somewhere around the $1,000 – $5,000 mark.
If that’s still not enough for you, don’t fear, because BetOnline recently introduced a feature that enables users to re-bet every time the odds move and/or every 61 seconds.
Always remember, though, hidden in the fine print of BetOnline’s terms and conditions was a clause that restricted users from winning more than $150,000 in any 24-hour period.
Although we’re confident that’s going to affect less than 0.1% of our readers, it’s still an important consideration for those who like to build lottery-like parlays on your favorite sports.
BetOnline’s Deposit Methods
When it comes to depositing, BetOnline has a huge list of ways to deposit funds into your account.
No matter if you prefer to deposit using a credit card, cryptocurrency, bank wire transfer, or via Skrill or Neteller, there’s an option for you here.
But, like with any online sportsbook, just because it’s an option, it doesn’t mean it’s a good option.
To help you understand the best ways to deposit funds into your BetOnline account, we’ve analyzed the long list of terms and conditions of the online cashier.
Read on below to discover all of the methods that you should be considering and the ones that you should refrain from using.
Cryptocurrency
- Bitcoin – (Min. $20 – Max. $50,000)
- Ethereum – (Min. $20 – Max. $50,000)
- Litecoin – (Min. $20 – Max. $50,000)
- Dash – (Min. $20 – Max. $50,000)
- Bitcoin Cash – (Min. $20 – Max. $50,000)
- Ripple – (Min. $20 – Max. $50,000)
The best way to deposit funds into your BetOnline account is by using any of the cryptocurrencies above.
It’s fast, easy, and free to do so, and by depositing cryptocurrency into your account, you’ll also be eligible for fast and free payouts back to your crypto wallet of choice.
Users who fund their account using cryptocurrency are also eligible for a 100% first-time deposit bonus, as well as a 35% reload deposit bonus. We cover these promotions in more detail in a later section of this article.
If you’re sold on the idea of depositing via Bitcoin, make sure to reference BetOnline’s in-depth guide to Bitcoin deposits.
Credit Card
- Visa – (Min. $50 – Max. $5,000)
- Mastercard – (Min. $50 – Max. $5,000)
- American Express – (Min. $50 – Max. $5,000)
- Discover – (Min. $50 – Max. $5,000)
Bettors who prefer the convenience and simplicity of depositing via credit card will likely be discouraged to learn that BetOnline has high fees and strict terms and conditions in place for deposits made by credit card or debit card.
Strategically placed at the bottom of BetOnline’s “Deposit Rules” page and not on the otherwise easy-to-reference cashier information screen is a single sentence that can cause tremendous grief.
“When you choose to deposit via credit card, debit card, or gift card a 7.5% processing fee applies.”
Ouch.
It’s not easy to beat the bookmaker in the first place, but in this instance, you’re down on the scorecards before the first round even begins.
If you wish to deposit via credit card anyway, you’ll need to adhere to the strict rules and guidelines that BetOnline impose on all depositors.
After making your first deposit, BetOnline will request scanned copies of the front and back of your government-issued ID, front and back of any credit cards associated with your account, and a utility bill or bank statement that confirms your address.
Users who deposit via credit card or debit card are still eligible for the welcome and reload bonuses, but they’re not as generous as the ones that are available to players depositing via cryptocurrency.
Because there’s too much risk for too little return, we strongly recommend readers to refrain from making credit card or debit card deposits at BetOnline.
E-wallets
- Skrill – (Min. $10 – No max.)
- Neteller – (Min. $10 – No max.)
If you’re unfamiliar with e-wallets, Neteller and Skrill are highly secure, popular options for transferring money online.
You can use instant banking, credit cards, or debit cards to fund your e-wallet account and then transfer these funds from Skrill or Neteller into BetOnline.
While this process may seem more complicated than simply depositing directly into BetOnline, you’ll encounter no fees via this method while also boosting the safety and security of your deposit process, as well.
Do note, however, that deposits made via Skrill and Neteller are not eligible for the same deposit bonuses that cryptocurrency and credit card users can enjoy.
Still, if you’re looking for an alternative way to quickly and easily deposit funds into your online betting accounts, e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller are excellent choices.
Other
- EcoPayz – (Min. $10 – Max. $10,000)
- Bank Wire Transfer – (Min. $1,000 – No max.)
- Cashiers Check – (Min. $1,500 – Max. $15,000)
- Person to Person – (Min. $100 – Max. $600)
- Money Orders – (Min. $300 – Max. $9,000)
EcoPayz is another free and easy way to deposit funds into your BetOnline account, but, unfortunately, you’re unable to withdraw using EcoPayz and will be required to use another banking method to receive your funds.
Users who are familiar with depositing money into sportsbook using bank wire transfers, money orders, and cashier checks, will already know that these methods are incredibly slow and painful.
Matters are made worse by BetOnline’s condition that all withdrawals need to be made in the same way that was used to deposit funds. That means if you deposit via check or bank wire transfer, you’re going to need to withdraw using check or bank wire transfer, as well.
BetOnline’s Withdrawal Methods
As always, it’s important to understand the payout terms and conditions of every site so that you can withdraw money safely, securely, and without giving up an unnecessary cut your hard-earned funds.
BetOnline’s terms and conditions state that all withdrawals are made using the same method that was used to deposit funds if the option is available.
In the case of deposits via credit card, for example, a user will need to look at alternative ways to withdraw their money, because BetOnline does not allow credit card or debit card payouts.
Another impact of this rule is that users are unable to deposit funds using Bitcoin and then withdraw funds into an e-wallet account such as Skrill or Neteller, for example.
Because the world of sportsbook payouts can be incredibly confusing, we’ve scoured all of BetOnline’s “Payout Rules” to bring you all the details you need to know.
Cryptocurrency
- Bitcoin – (Min. $20 – Max. $10,000)
- Ethereum – (Min. $20 – Max. $10,000)
- Litecoin – (Min. $20 – Max. $10,000)
- Dash – (Min. $20 – Max. $10,000)
- Bitcoin Cash – (Min. $20 – Max. $10,000)
- Ripple – (Min. $20 – Max. $10,000)
Just as cryptocurrency was our preferred method of choice for depositing funds into your BetOnline account, we also recommend cryptocurrency as your primary way of withdrawing funds from BetOnline, as well.
The low minimum payout amounts and relatively high maximums compare incredibly well against traditional funding methods such as bank wire transfer, checks, and money orders, and you won’t need to wait up to a week to receive your funds.
BetOnline’s cryptocurrency FAQ page states that “withdrawals are typically processed with an hour and a maximum of 48 hours,” and there are no fees for payouts via cryptocurrency.
E-wallets
- Skrill – (Min. $25 – Max. $9,900)
- Neteller – (Min. $25 – Max. $9,900)
Skrill and Neteller are two very convenient ways to both deposit and withdraw funds from a BetOnline account.
Similar to the cryptocurrency cashier experience, there are no fees associated with e-wallet transfers.
Other
- Bank Wire Transfer – (Min. $500 – Max. $24,900)
- Check Express – (Min. $500 – Max. $2,500)
- Person to Person – (Min. $50 – Max. $400)
- Money Orders – (Min. $500 – Max. $9,000)
- CredecardPlus – (Min. $200 – Max. $3,000)
While convenient, traditional methods such as bank wire transfer often come with high fees and long waiting times.
In the case of BetOnline, the fees range between $45 and 3% for any payout made via bank wire transfer and the waiting period is somewhere between 5-15 business days before receiving the funds.
If those fees are discouraging, we recommend participating in BetOnline’s special promotion that runs every Friday. Players can snag one $50 discount every 30 days on their payout method of choice if the payout request is made on Friday before 1 pm ET.
BetOnline’s Promotions and Bonuses
If you’re new to the strange world of offshore sportsbook promotions and bonuses, this is where things start to get a little wild.
At first glance, shiny promotions and bonuses look like incredible ways to add extra funds to your account when making your first or second deposits.
In reality, the world of free play bonuses and free bets isn’t paradise; it’s a scheme littered with pitfalls to catch recreational gamblers unaware.
That’s why we’re here.
Rules
Before learning about all of BetOnline’s promotions, you’re going to first need to understand the rules and regulations surrounding them.
Bonuses are given in the form of ‘free play’ bets. These bets have an expiry date of 30 days and are only eligible to be used in the BetOnline sportsbook. Therefore, you can’t use these free play bets on horse racing or casino.
Before withdrawing ANY funds from your account (whether genuine funds or free play bets), you’ll need to adhere to the rollover requirement associated with the specific promotion.
At BetOnline, the rollover requirement includes not just the original deposit but the free play amount, as well.
So, if a new customer deposits $200 into their account and uses a promo code for a 100% bonus that has a 10x rollover requirement, the total rollover amount will be $4,000. This customer will be required to wager $4,000 before they are able to withdraw any amount of funds from their account.
But that’s not all.
Rollover is calculated differently at BetOnline. Rather than just calculating the amount wagered, BetOnline instead considers only the lower of the risk/reward value. For example, if you wager $100 to win $25, only $25 counts toward the rollover requirement.
Free plays can only be used on spreads and totals for basketball, football, and soccer, as well as baseball and hockey moneylines and totals. The bonuses can’t be used in parlays, if-bets, teasers, or any of BetOnline’s excellent player props.
Because the rollover requirements are very challenging to meet, we recommend only participating in BetOnline’s promotions if you are planning to bet exclusively with BetOnline for the next 30 days. If you were planning to put some money in your account and place a couple of bets here, there, and elsewhere, we strongly advise against using the bonuses.
If you wish to go ahead and cash-in on BetOnline’s bonuses, here’s all of the information that you’ll need.
100% 1st Time Crypto Bonus
- Valid on first deposits via Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin or DASH
- Minimum deposit – $20
- Maximum deposit – $1,000
- 14x rollover requirement
- Can only be claimed once
BetOnline’s 100% first-time cryptocurrency deposit bonus is by far the most lucrative promotion for new customers.
The small minimum deposit allows gamblers to get in at a low cost and start betting right away. The maximum deposit extends all the way up to $1,000, as well, meaning that eligible bettors can receive up to $1,000 in free play bonuses on top of their deposit.
The 100% first-time cryptocurrency deposit bonus is only available to players from the USA and Canada who use the relevant promo code during the cashier process.
Do note, however, that there is a 14x rollover attached to this bonus, making it extremely challenging to hit the requirements before withdrawing your funds.
Proceed with caution.
35% Crypto Reload Bonus
- Valid on every qualifying deposit via Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin or DASH
- Minimum deposit – $20
- Maximum deposit – $1,000
- 6x rollover requirement
The value doesn’t stop after you make your initial deposit. At BetOnline, returning customers are rewarded for their loyalty with a brilliant 35% cryptocurrency deposit reload bonus that helps users top up their account.
The 6x rollover requirement is much more achievable than the first-time deposit offer, meaning that despite the lower monetary value, the chances of realizing the benefits are higher with this promotion.
Like the first-time deposit bonus, this cryptocurrency reload bonus is exclusive to players from the USA and Canada who enter the promo code during the deposit process.
50% Welcome Bonus
- Minimum deposit – $55
- Maximum deposit – $1,000
- 10x rollover requirement
- First deposit only
If funding your account with cryptocurrency isn’t your preference, you can still make the most of BetOnline’s 50% welcome bonus that applies for traditional banking methods including credit card, debit card, and bank wire transfer.
If you were dismayed by BetOnline’s 7.5% fee for credit card and debit card deposits, the 50% welcome bonus may help tip the scales in your favor if the conditions are met.
Deposits made via Skrill and Neteller are not eligible for this welcome bonus.
25% Sports Reload Bonus
- Minimum deposit – $50
- Maximum deposit – $500
- 6x rollover requirement
The 25% sports reload bonus is a great way to keep free play bonuses coming into your account after your initial deposit.
Unfortunately, however, deposits via Skrill and Neteller are not eligible and therefore qualified players can only access this promotion after depositing via credit card, debit card, bank wire transfer, and other traditional banking methods.
WagerBop Pro Tip
If you’re seeking the biggest and best promotion, we confirmed with BetOnline a way to qualify for both of the welcome bonuses mentioned above.
By making your first deposit with a credit card, bank wire transfer, or any alternative that is eligible for the 50% Welcome Bonus, you can then proceed to make your second deposit with cryptocurrency and later get the 100% 1st Time Crypto Bonus, as well.
Of course, you’ll need to fulfill the requirements of the 50% Welcome Bonus first. But if you can do so, there’s a chance to extract a lot of free money from BetOnline’s promotions.
BetOnline’s Website Design and Navigability
An unfortunate reality of the current sports betting situation in North America is that users can mostly only access slow, outdated sites that have been constructed with no consideration for user experience.
Make your way over to 5Dimes, for example, and you’ll find a site that looks worse than your MySpace profile did in 2008.
At first glance, BetOnline’s site doesn’t look much better. With its bright red color scheme, you’d think that they are trying to sell you fast food rather than portray a trustworthy, reputable website that deals with large volumes of money on a daily basis.
But it’s all about the experience and not the appeal.
Desktop site
BetOnline’s desktop site is built for efficiency.
Users can quickly and easily pick from their favorite sports in the left column before then browsing the available betting markets in the center.
Once you’ve selected your intended bet, it’s just a matter of seconds before you can confirm that wager using the bet slip on the right.
It’s not pretty, but it’s a straightforward process that requires no unnecessary page loading.
Mobile Site
A similar experience exists on mobile for BetOnline customers. No matter if you’re on the home page or deep in a sports betting market, you’re always just one or two clicks away from where you need to be.
There are no unnecessary menus for less-popular options, and all of the sports and markets that you likely want to bet on are above-the-fold.
Our takeaway from betting on the BetOnline desktop and mobile website was that all of it just made sense. It was fast, efficient, and simple, and that’s what we’re looking for when betting on online.
Live betting
BetOnline’s live betting menu has everything that you need, without providing extra details or features that you may find at other sites.
By loading up the live betting screen, you’ll find live score updates on a clean-looking scoreboard, enabling users to track the score while placing their in-play bets.
If you’re after advanced stats, live video, replays, and highlights as you’re making your betting decisions, this isn’t the site for you.
However, if you’re merely interested in placing bets on live sports in as little time as possible, then you’ll find yourself right at home with BetOnline.
But that’s only a good day.
A quick search for player feedback online shows that BetOnline has a long history of site crashes, bugs, glitches, and slow site performance.
In March 2018, the BetOnline servers went down for several days. Many users reported that they were unable to login to the website and rightfully became concerned about the funds in their account.
In the middle of June 2019, odds were disappearing from the site and users weren’t able to place bets for a matter of days. Many users reported that the issue could be fixed by accessing the mobile version of the site and not the desktop version.
At the time of writing this review, a quick search on Twitter shows that similar problems still exist for some users.
Although BetOnline was flawless during our tests, our review was conducted before the beginning of the major sports seasons.
At peak times, such as June during the NBA Finals, the servers may become overloaded as traffic volumes increase.
Regardless, our experience has been excellent and BetOnline’s brilliant reputation means that they can be trusted to bring the site back online with speed every time.
BetOnline’s Safety, Security and Reliability
When it comes to choosing an online sportsbook, nothing is more important than safety, security, and reliability.
A sportsbook that has all of the best odds, markets, and promotions is of no use if they’re dishonorable and can’t be trusted. After all, we’re loading hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars into our accounts, and have every right to be skeptical.
So, how does BetOnline fare in this regard?
As Larry David would say…
The BetOnline sportsbook has an outstanding reputation that has been built up over 14 years.
Our online research found lots of positive feedback from players who claim that BetOnline pays out every time, and they pay out fast. Our investigation found no evidence of a player not receiving their funds ― that’s a lot more than we can say about some other bookmakers.
Although the BetOnline sportsbook is regarded as safe, fair, and reasonable by the online gambling community, the BetOnline brand, as a whole, has been associated with controversy over the years.
In 2012, the poker segment of the site came under fire when it was players discovered that BetOnline was not using the Hero Poker Network, as advertised. Instead, BetOnline was running their poker systems on Action Poker Network, and this information was nowhere to be found. Players rightfully started to question the transparency and reliability of BetOnline poker following this incident.
The BetOnline casino has also been at the center of controversy. In 2017, a player released a video that showed the dealer manipulating the deck by ‘second dealing.’ The video led to intense scrutiny from BetOnline players and other figures in the industry. This led to BetOnline switching their live casino provider from Global Gaming Labs to Visionary iGaming in the wake of the criticism.
It is important to note at this stage, however, that these two very significant issues were associated with other parts of the BetOnline brand and were not linked to the BetOnline sportsbook that operates on an entirely separate section of the website.
Although these issues will not impact your sports betting experience, we believe it’s important to share issues that may impact the reliability of the BetOnline brand overall.
BetOnline’s Customer Support
If you’re a long-time reader of our sportsbook reviews here at BetOnline, you’ll know that we hate phone calls, but love a good live chat.
BetOnline’s customer support page shows three different methods to get in touch with their customer service team: live chat, telephone, or email.
That’s the perfect trifecta of customer support options. If you’re too lazy to pick up the phone (like us), you can get in touch with one of their support agents in a matter of seconds.
We prepared a couple of challenging questions for the live chat support agent to assess their efficiency and skill.
The support agent, named Layla, was not only insightful and timely with her responses, but remarkably polite and caring, as well.
She got back to us in under one minute and provided links to the relevant documentation listed in the BetOnline terms and conditions pages.
At the time of our review, we have not needed to engage with customer support regarding any truly significant problem regarding missing funds or issues.
Regardless, our review wouldn’t be complete without taking a look at the feedback listed online in sports betting communities regarding BetOnline’s customer support.
Online forums show several reports from players who have had questions regarding bonuses, funds, or just generic questions going unsolved and/or unanswered. These players escalated the issue by taking it to the streets of social media and shouting about their problems until BetOnline responded.
BetOnline, just like any other company in the modern era, clearly doesn’t want to be dealing with negative press and feedback that’s posted online, so they responded to the issues with speed. Every case of a user having an issue with BetOnline’s customer support was later resolved. Whether their response was due to the action taken by the impacted player or not… that’s hard to know for sure.
Conclusion
For the vast majority of punters out there, BetOnline is an exceptional destination for all things sports betting.
By consistently releasing early lines with low margins, BetOnline is considerably easier to beat than other sportsbooks out there today. With an industry-leading range of sports markets, including the very popular player props options, BetOnline could be considered as the ultimate sports gambling playground.
In addition to all of the welcomed betting options, BetOnline has a long list of deposit and withdrawal methods with no fees associated with some popular payment types. With a reputation for fast and reliable payouts, players can feel safe and secure when betting on their favorite sports.
In a world where there’s no perfect one-stop-shop for online gambling purposes, BetOnline comes pretty damn close.
