The reigning European champions, Manchester City, meet Yokohama FM in a club-friendly game this Sunday. The hosts are the 2022 J1 League winners and arguably the best team in Japan, and they have a chance to measure their strength with one of the best teams in the past decade. This is the first preseason event for the Sky-Blues, who took their time to rest and recharge batteries following an exhausting season that saw them win the Treble.

Man City won’t change anything in its approach and tactics. They have a system that works and is extremely lethal. Erling Haaland is the centerpiece of the attack, though Kevin de Bruyne is the heart and soul of the entire unit. The Belgian has been around for quite some time, and he became the unit’s leader right from his arrival.
