Week 11 of the Major League Soccer ended last night. WagerBop.com is bringing a recap of the entire round, with all the details and fact which might be interesting to you.
There have been several interesting results, and a few surprises, one in Los Angeles where New York City defeated Ibrahimovic’s LA Galaxy with 0-2. After this game, Zlatan and the boys lost the pace with the city rivals LAFC, who now have five points more, 27. But not only that, Seattle Sounders who managed to win after three straight draws are now leveled with Galaxy, having one game fewer.
It appears that Guillermo Barros Schelotto can’t handle things very well recently. Galaxy has three straight losses in a row, and the frustration on the field because of that is obvious. Ibrahimovic’s clash with NYC’s goalkeeper Jackson is the obvious proof for that.

Meanwhile, LAFC beat Columbus Crew on the road with 0-3. Two of the guests’ goals came in the final two minutes, and one of them was Carlos Vela’s. The Mexican and the biggest favorite for the MVP title has 12 hits so far and is leading the list of goalscorers.
When mentioning Seattle, they defeated Houston Dynamo in the derby of the Western Conference, 1-0. It was only the second loss of the season for Dynamo. Christian Roldan executed after only five minutes of the game, which eventually ended with that result. Seattle is third with 22 points, three more than fourth-placed Houston, but with two matches more.
Colorado Rapids managed to post the worst start in the league ever. After 11 rounds played, the Rapids still don’t have a win, posting just two draws and nine losses. They are by far the worst team in the league. In the latest clash, they suffered a defeat at home to Real Salt Lake, 2-3.

Regarding the Eastern Conference, things are pretty interesting there.
DC United’s victory over Sporting Kansas City allowed them to stay at the top of the standings along with Philadelphia Union. Paul Arriola’s fantastic strike 12 minutes before the end of the game brought a minimal, 1-0 win and huge three points for the hosts.
DC has the same number of points as their rivals, but the Union has a much better goal difference. Philly played against Toronto FC on the road, in the biggest clash in the East this weekend. They managed to take the whole prey, 1-2, and to keep the top spot, denying Toronto’s breakthrough in the table.
The Canadians are now 6th in the conference, with 16 points, seven fewer than the leading duo, but they have two games fewer. That is why the result from Saturday has that big of value for the guys from Pennsylvania.
There is one other team which threatens to take over the East. The champions Atlanta United recorded their fourth straight victory, and are six points behind place No.1, but also with two games in hand. Gonzalo Martinez’s goal in the first half was enough for them to beat Orlando with 1-0.

New York Red Bulls were better than Dallas in Texas, 1-3. Chris Amas’ boys indicated that they might be recovering from a bad start of the season, clinching the third victory in previous four events.
In other games, Chicago Fire defeated Minnesota United with 2-0 and came closer to the seventh spot which leads to the playoffs. Fire now have 16 points, the same as Columbus but have one game to play.
The New England Revolution trashed San Jose Earthquakes with 3-1, while, Vancouver Whitecaps outplayed Portland Timbers in the opening game of the round with 1-0. After taking the lead in the 9th minute, Whitecaps prevailed and successfully preserved their lead.
Cincinnati beat Montreal Impact with 2-1, delivering a huge blow for the guests who were aiming to stay leveled with Union and DC United at the top of the standings.
The new patch of MLS games is already coming this Wednesday, so stay tuned and follow us for the latest news.
